Do you think that Turkish design is fed by the street style? Should it do so?
Absolutely. Even though we feel the effect of street style on Turkish design more this year, I do believe we still have a way to go. I think the reason behind this is the similar styles of people in our country. So you don’t really see an adapted version of a dress you saw on the runway out in the street, you need to be unique and combine them. However, I believe we are getting over this problem with the great collections of our designers and with the help of bloggers.
Do you think bloggers are pioneers of street style in Turkey?
Absolutely. Many people make decisions about their styles by following bloggers and can apply this on the streets with getting inspired.
You shared the runway shows during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Istanbul on buseterim.com.tr, how was the feedback?
I love sharing these to support especially the designers and this important event. I always get great feedback, both from my followers and designers. I do think that this is a very important task. It would be great for me if I have any support for improving this important week.

Buse sence Türk tasarımı sokak stillerinden besleniyor mu? Beslenmeli mi?
Mutlaka beslenmeli. Türk tasarımında sokak stillerinin etkisini bu yıl daha çok hissetsek de, biraz daha yolumuz var diye düşünüyorum. Bunda belki bizim ülkemizdeki benzer giyinme tarzının etkisi olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Yani podyumda gördüğünüz bir kıyafetin sokağa adapte edilmiş halini pek göremiyorsunuz, kombinlemek ve özgün olmak gerekiyor. Ama bu durum son zamanlarda tasarımcılarımızın başarılı koleksiyonları ve bloggerlar sayesinde aşılmaya başladı diye düşünüyorum.
Bloggerlar için Türkiye de sokak stilinin oncusu diyebilir miyiz?
Kesinlikle. Birçok insan bloggerları takip ederek stiline yön veriyor ve ilham alarak bunu sokağa taşıyabiliyor.

Özellikle tasarımcıları ve bu önemli etkinliği destekleme açısından paylaşımları çok severek yapıyorum. Ve her zaman çok iyi tepkiler alıyorum; hem takipçilerden hem de tasarımcılardan. Bu işin çok önemli bir misyon olduğunu düşünüyorum, bu önemli haftanın biraz daha ileri gitmesinde bir tuzum olursa ne mutlu bana!
